Murcia Welcomes You is an independent community project. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this short and readable on purpose.
When you reserve a spot for an experience we collect: your name, email address, number of participants, and optionally your WhatsApp number, nationality and any notes you choose to share. We use this to confirm your booking, send you event details by email, and share the WhatsApp community group link after confirming your spot.
Legal basis: consent (you submit the booking form and agree to this policy).
When you send us a message through the contact form we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Legal basis: consent.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate (pages visited, time on site, general location by country). IP addresses are anonymised. We do not sell or share this data with third parties beyond Google Analytics' own privacy terms.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the site experience. You can opt out via your browser settings or via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
WhatsApp group links are not published on this website. They are shared personally by the organiser after confirming a booking. If you share a WhatsApp number in your booking, the organiser may contact you there to send you the group link. Participation in any WhatsApp group is always voluntary.
Booking confirmation emails are sent via Resend. Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of delivering your confirmation. It is not used for marketing.
Booking and contact data is kept only as long as needed to manage the booking or reply to your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions. Server logs are rotated regularly. We do not build marketing lists.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hola@asensios.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) at aepd.es.
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top reflects when it was last revised.
